Teresian House is seeking a faith-centered, compassionate person that will enhance and support the lives of our residents and affirm their dignity to serve as a Part Time or Full Time Pastoral/Spiritual Care Associate. Our 300-bed home provides long term care, rehabilitative, memory enhancement and respite care. Pastoral/Spiritual Care at Teresian House embraces compassionate ministry to the aged, the sick, the dying, and to persons with Dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
The responsibilities of this person will be to cultivate meaningful relationships with residents, their families and our staff. You will need to provide a presence and spiritual and emotional support to residents, their families and staff. You will need to enhance and provide a welcoming environment recognizing the dignity of the human person. You will also need to assess and document the spiritual needs and concerns of the residents, assist in preparing chapel for Mass, funerals, and special liturgies, and bring Eucharist to residents. Additional clerical duties may be assigned. Applicant should have previous ministry service and a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
