As a Student Pastor, you will play a vital role in providing spiritual guidance, support, and leadership to our students. Responsibilities:
- Conduct religious services for students including sermons, prayers, and sacraments
- Provide pastoral care and support to students and their families in times of need
- Lead and facilitate Bible studies, prayer groups, and other spiritual gatherings
- Offer Christian counseling to students facing personal or spiritual challenges
- Mentor and educate student on matters of the Christian faith and living
- Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to plan and organize events and programs
- Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote the church's mission and values
- Manage administrative tasks related to the student pastoral role
Skills:
- Ability to educate and mentor students on matters of the Christian faith
- Strong Christian values and leadership abilities to guide and inspire students
- Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with students from diverse backgrounds
- Proficient in crisis intervention techniques to provide support during difficult times
- Knowledge of Christian counseling principles to offer guidance to students
- Strong presentation skills for outreach and evangelical efforts
