Pastor directs religious services and all daily operations for the organization. Provides spiritual leadership to members. Additionally, Pastor performs religious services, leads prayer and conducts worship. Requires a master's degree. Typically reports to regional or chapter manager. Purpose:
The Student Pastor must fulfill his or her duties with excellence and ministry appropriateness. This person is responsible for partnering with parents in the discipleship and overall spiritual growth of students. This person is committed to the recruitment, directing, and development of lay leaders in the student & family ministry department.
The person filling the position at Passion Community Church will be a vital part of the family ministry team using innovative and intentional ministry to fulfill its varied responsibilities.
Required Skills:
This individual will have accepted Jesus Christ as the leader and forgiver or his or her life and is committed to growing in their walk with Jesus Christ. This person will have a strong biblical foundation.
A bachelor’s degree in divinity, theology, ministry, or a related field is preferred and/or experience working with teens in a Christian ministry.
He or she must be able to work in a multi-staff setting with other ministry professionals maintaining interpersonal and relational skills. He or she must demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team to accomplish ministry goals. His or her beliefs must coincide with the Passion Community Church Statement of Faith.
As a member of the staff and the congregation, it is expected this person will continue professional and spiritual development through appropriate classes, bible studies, involvement in small group ministries, or other appropriate means.

This is a full-time, salaried exempt position under the overall oversight of the Elders of Passion Community Church. This staff member reports directly to the church’s Lead Pastor.
Salary: compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
A professional approach in speech and dress and spiritual attitude is always expected.
