Job Description

Paramount Power, Inc. is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to join our team in the fast-paced emergency power service industry. Qualified candidates should have a strong understanding of emergency backup generators and the associated parts needed for our customer base.

Responsibilities:

Assist technicians with determining the correct part numbers

Locate/research and purchase correct parts for each job

Provide and prepare quotes to the customer

Receive parts into inventory daily

Prepare and distribute parts to techs for each job

Conduct inventory control and maintenance

Work closely with Service Manager to ensure timely turnaround of parts needed

Packaging and shipping parts back to manufacturer weekly

Provide a high level of customer service with our vendors and customers

Build relationships and negotiate with new vendors on pricing and inventory

Identify and resolve both internal and external parts issues with customers

Qualifications and Abilities:

Minimum of 3 years of Generator and ATS parts knowledge

Must be a team player with the ability to communicate efficiently with off site technicians and internal personnel

Great organizational skills and computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Ability to research and order the correct parts for every job in a timely manner

Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Must have basic math skills for computing percentages, sales tax and totals on parts quotes and orders

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• generator: 3 years (Preferred)
• parts research: 3 years (Preferred)
