Parts Manager supports the parts department with technical, procedural, inventory control, and parts exchange support. Manages material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments. Being a Parts Manager monitors and troubleshoots all backorders and communicates and provides technical assistance to parts sales, customers, and branches. Monitors the parts inventory database and places orders as needed. Additionally, Parts Manager reviews progress reports on schedule status, parts usage, and inventory and makes necessary adjustments. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Parts Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Parts Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. McKeever RV & Marine is seeking a Quality Parts Manager for our Sweetwater, TN, location that is right on I-75. Our parts department is readily growing and needs a hands-on manager that can take it to the next level. Responsibilities:
*Oversee daily operation of the parts department including retail, wholesale and internal
*Oversee purchasing including working with vendors to ensure proper costing
*Greet all customers in a polite manner in person, on the phone, by text or email
*Assist the customer in finding the correct part or accessory, must be able to do research when needed
*Maintain a quick turnaround time for internal parts
*Researching parts for other possible alternatives
*Daily cycle counts as well as a semi-yearly inventory
*Merchandizing the sales floor
*Receiving stock and stocking the shelves
*Keeping the parts department clean and orderly
Qualifications:
*Computer proficient
*Basic math skills
*Outgoing personality that enjoys talking with customer
*Must have good follow through
We are a 6 day-a-week operation with a rotating schedule (Week 1 Monday-Friday, Week 2 Tuesday-Saturday), we close at 6pm, so not late nights.

Daily Life as a Parts Manager with McKeever RV & Marine: The Parts Manager will work with the parts counter agent to take care of retail, wholesale, and internal customers.
