Parts Inventory jobs in Union, NJ

Parts Inventory identifies, inspects, coordinates, and processes parts to be exchanged. Dispatches material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments. Being a Parts Inventory monitors all backorders and communicates and provides technical assistance to parts sales, customers, and branches. Updates and monitors the Parts Inventory database and places orders as needed. Additionally, Parts Inventory generates progress reports on schedule status, parts usage, and inventory and keeps records of completed orders. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Parts Inventory works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. To be a Parts Inventory typically requires 3-5 years of related experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

    This position is primarily Early Morning work, however you have the ability to work varied, traditional and non-traditional hours, including flexible schedules. The more you are available, the more you can earn!

    WIS Inventory Associate – Mornings Job Preview


    This WIS team works with a select group of specialty retailers and provides focused inventory solutions for their unique business in the discount retail space. As the face of our organization, we depend on you to uphold our Core Values of Service, Pride, Integrity, Results, Innovation and Teamwork in a positive, safe and inclusive environment. You will scan the barcodes with our proprietary handheld devices, for the current inventory at Customer locations to provide them with proper inventory information that will assist them in making better business decisions and better supporting their customers!     Team Requirements


    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • We encourage applications from candidates who:
      • Have no experience or returning to the workforce
      • Have military experience
      • Do not have a high school or college degree
    • We are also looking for associates with experience in Retail, Stock, Customer Service, Cashiers, Sales Representatives, Picker, Packer, Driver and/or Warehouse work. Make your experience count!
    • Access to reliable transportation

    Working Conditions


    This position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time with occasional walking; the ability to use both hands and wrists for repetitive motions; the ability to frequently be in low level positions, such as squatting, kneeling, or crouching; the ability to frequently use a ladder; the ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.; the ability to frequently travel via car and occasionally via plane, including overnight stays.
