Parts Inventory identifies, inspects, coordinates, and processes parts to be exchanged. Dispatches material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments. Being a Parts Inventory monitors all backorders and communicates and provides technical assistance to parts sales, customers, and branches. Updates and monitors the Parts Inventory database and places orders as needed. Additionally, Parts Inventory generates progress reports on schedule status, parts usage, and inventory and keeps records of completed orders. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Parts Inventory works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Safely operates equipment to stock, fulfill and move products in an efficient manner.
Essential Functions:
Safely and efficiently operate all power equipment including: forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers and pallet jacks
Complete all documentation required for proper operation of equipment including: pre-trip inspections, post-trip inspections, and maintenance requests
Maintaining inventory control and accuracy through processes and systems set forth by the company
Receive inventory, stock shelves, pick orders, package orders and ship orders
Check and restock merchandise, inventory, inspect for damage, and verify bin contents
Maintain work areas by keeping areas clean, neat and orderly

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred;
Successfully complete a pre-employment drug test;
Wear appropriate footwear protection and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by Company policy;

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted;
Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, reach, lift, carry, bend, kneel, squat, and stoop;
Also required to climb, push/pull, balance, crouch or crawl, talk, speak, and hear.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
May be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and/or vehicles, high/precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, various degrees of cold and heat, risk of electrical shock, items of bulky or varying weight, risk of explosion, and/or vibration. Noise level may be moderate to heavy.
Must have considerable mobility, and be able to stand and/or sit for long durations of time.
