Role Overview:

The Automotive Parts Director will oversee the parts departments across multiple locations, collaborating closely with each site's management team to hire, train, and inspire staff to meet and surpass our strategic business objectives. This leadership role requires expertise in inventory management, waste reduction, and ensuring that all operations contribute positively to our return on investment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Strategically manage parts operations across multiple locations, maintaining service and inventory management excellence.

· Collaborate with store management teams to effectively recruit, train, and motivate parts department staff.

· Implement and refine business strategies to align with overall company goals, focusing on customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability.

· Oversee inventory management practices, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained while minimizing excess and obsolescence.

· Lead initiatives to identify and eliminate waste and unnecessary expenses, maximizing return on investment across all parts operations.

· Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging staff to contribute ideas for operational enhancements.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in multi-site automotive parts management.

· Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a history of managing large, diverse teams.

· Strong analytical and financial acumen, skilled in inventory control and budget management.

· Excellent communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with team members, management, and customers.
