Parole Officer is responsible for managing designated cases for prisoners who are on parole. Assesses the needs of the parolee, schedules and sets standards for supervision and creates reports on progress and behavior. Being a Parole Officer is responsible for scheduling or supervising rehabilitation program attendance and progress. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Parole Officer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Parole Officer gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. SCOPE OF POSITION:
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. The Security Officer’s performance is necessary for the casino to reach its full potential in providing a superior entertainment experience for its guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
The Security Officer has no supervisory duties.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
The Security Officer regularly communicates and exchanges information with coworkers and guests and operates a computer, other office equipment, and a radio. The Security Officer will regularly be required to remain stationary for 50 percent or more of their shift. Depending on weather, the Security Manager will be exposed to extreme cold or heat, temperatures varying from below 32 degrees to 100 degrees or more, for periods of more than one hour.
Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where there may be flashing lights, and the noise levels vary from quiet to loud depending on the time of day, the specific location, and the amount of business. The Security Officer must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a smoke-filled environment. The workplace is also under constant surveillance both inside and outside the facility.
The Security Officer may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve contentious issues with difficult guests and staff members.
