Parole Officer is responsible for managing designated cases for prisoners who are on parole. Assesses the needs of the parolee, schedules and sets standards for supervision and creates reports on progress and behavior. Being a Parole Officer is responsible for scheduling or supervising rehabilitation program attendance and progress. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Parole Officer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Parole Officer gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Work Schedule:
90% FTE. Evening/Night; Hours. 3, 12 hour shifts per week, every other weekend rotation. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Education:
Minimum -High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred - Associate Degree or progress towards a degree in criminal justice field or a Bachelor's
Degree in any other field of study.
Work Experience:
Minimum -One (1) year relevant experience or appropriate preferred education requirements.
Preferred -Experience in healthcare security, corporate security, or law enforcement.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - Valid Driver's License and completion of IAHSS Basic Certification within six months of hire.
