1. Resolve queries from customers and assist them with their journey through CTA Transit locations

2. Responding to emergencies and incidents with Monterrey Security

3. Making sure checkpoints are completing on shift

4. Dealing with any unattended baggage.

5. Riding and securing the training activity from 95th State to Howard ( Redline)

6. Enforcement of the rail transit duties by foot patrols of all platform and on-train activities.

7. Assisting passengers with their general inquires

Knowledge and Experience: Essential:

• 21 years of age
• High School Diploma, GED/Transcripts required
• Unarmed credentials (20-Hour Unarmed Training Certificate & Current PERC required 05/31/2024)
• Previous experience as a Security officer is desired
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of following complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to participate in the company’s screening process, including drug screening, and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on the organization's needs.
• The ability to read and understand written instructions, and to write reports.
• Must complete basic rail transit security training and undergo refresher training to retain Qualified Security Staff status.
• Experience working within the Rail Transit and/or Security Industry or the Customer Service Industry is a plus.
• Complete Rail training
