Assesses the needs of the parolee, schedules and sets standards for supervision and creates reports on progress and behavior. Being a Parole Officer is responsible for scheduling or supervising rehabilitation program attendance and progress. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Parole Officer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Parole Officer gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
