Parking Attendant distributes tickets to customers and collects payments in a parking facility. Directs customers to appropriate parking spaces. Being a Parking Attendant may park and retrieve automobiles in a full-service parking lot or garage. Greets guests and ensures timely service. Additionally, Parking Attendant may require a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Driver's license. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Parking Attendant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Responsible for clerical and money management tasks as they relate to operating a cash register in a parking booth
Responsibilities
• Operate a cash register. Maintain attention to detail work, customer service and interaction. • Able to make and count change accurately during heavy and/or low volume customer traffic flow. • Perform verification of beginning and ending cash counts. • Create a positive impression by positively greeting customers, asking how to help them, and directing them to their destinations • Collect monies from patients and visitors upon exiting the parking lots and assist customers with paying at automated kiosks • Maintain a neat and clean appearance • Notify management when kiosks and entrance gates need attention

Education
• High School Diploma or GED (Required) Substitution: Graduate of applicable technical school program or 8th grade education and 5 years related experience may substitute for HS/GED
