Paralegal Supervisor supervises the paralegal team and implements systems and processes utilized to conduct research and produce legal documents. Coordinates the preparation of legal documents and tracks projects to ensure the work is completed accurately and on time. Being a Paralegal Supervisor organizes documents into formal report and proofs for attorneys. Trains paralegals to effectively utilize databases and legal libraries to conduct research. Additionally, Paralegal Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Paralegal Certification. Typically reports to a manager. The Paralegal Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. What will your day look like?
Your responsibilities will include organize, prepare and file Articles of Incorporation/Organization, state qualifications, organizational and related documents. You will prepare documents for transactions such as closing statements, UCC searches and filings, file annual reports in states where corporations are incorporated and/or qualified to do business and maintains capitalization tables as well as stock and options ledgers. You will organize documents and closing books in connection with corporate transactions such as acquisitions and mergers. You will also develop, monitor and update closing checklists, perform Blue Sky research and filings, maintains minute books (hard copy and electronic) and manage data rooms and matter files.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. The expected pay range for this position, if hired to work in New York City is $49.87 - $74.18 per hour. Non-exempt positions will be paid on an hourly basis and paid overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications.
