Paralegal Manager manages and develops the paralegal team and the systems and processes utilized to conduct research and produce legal documents. Responsible for case management by assigning cases and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion. Being a Paralegal Manager validates and oversees the preparation of legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, motions, appeals, wills, and contracts. Organizes documents into formal report and proofs for attorneys. Additionally, Paralegal Manager provides research and training support to the paralegals utilizing databases and legal libraries. Coordinates with attorneys on special requests or highly complex projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Paralegal Certification. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Paralegal Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Legal Assistant
-Process and file daily emails
-Open cases in case management system
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with various tasks related to legal cases and administrative duties
- Maintain case files and organize documents for easy retrieval
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates for attorneys
- Answer phone calls and provide excellent phone etiquette to clients and other parties
- Assist with client intake and prepare client correspondence
- Perform general clerical duties, such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
Paralegal

-Emphasis on assistance with case files and pleadings
-Prepare pleading and case files for Court
-Communicate with clients to obtaine case information and keep them apprised of case status

```Qualifications```
- Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant is preferred but not required for the right candidates
-Computer proficiency- Emphasis on Office 365, Google Suite, and general computer knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in transcribing and writing legal documents accurately
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis or Westlaw is a plus
- Experience with document management systems like Clio is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
