We are a boutique law firm that provides the high quality legal services in the areas of workers’ compensation and personal injury.

The paralegal should be a “people person” who enjoys working with clients to solve problems. This person would provide support for one workers' compensation attorney with a caseload of approx..120 files.

Full Time: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday

Pay: Competitive salary and benefits depending on experience/skills

Minimum Requirements:

• 2-3 years of NC workers’ compensation experience
• Familiarity with NCIC forms and processes
• Well-organized with ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with common computer applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing up to 120 cases
• Client intakes
• Legal Calendaring
• Filing claims and legal documents
• Facilitating and overseeing the status of medical treatment for clients
• Drafting all correspondence, forms, demand, settlement documents, motions and orders.
• Preparation of mediation, depositions and hearings

Candidates must be able to climb stairs, and push, pull and carry 25 pounds or more. Candidates must also be fully vaccinated.
