Paralegal assists and supports attorneys with research and document preparation for court proceedings and legal transactions. Utilizes a variety of sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, and legal codes to research and analyze legal topics. Being a Paralegal drafts and edits legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, motions, and contracts. Conducts fact-finding, data collection, and analysis used to prepare statements and arguments. Additionally, Paralegal assists attorneys with depositions, interviews, discovery, and investigations. Manages, organizes, and archives documents with software tools and technology. Applies specialized legal terminology appropriately in documents. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Paralegal Certification. Typically reports to an attorney. The Paralegal work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. To be a Paralegal typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience.   • VERY BUSY and dynamic legal office in Fort Mohave, AZ seeks a friendly and organized Receptionist for a full-time (32-40 hour week) position in a growing company.

    In this role, you will answer a high volume of calls on a multi-line phone system, schedule appointments, open files, organize client files and assist other team members with other administrative duties. Legal experience is a plus but not a requirement. Must be a self-starter, able to work alone with minimal direction, be a fast learner, familiar with all office equipment (including computers, multi-line phone, copier, etc.), proficient in Microsoft Office, and a multi-tasker. You MUST have office experience and high-volume call answering experience.

    Schedule is Mon-Thurs from 8-4 (1 hour lunch from 11-12 or 12-1) and Friday 8-12. Weekends off. Paid holidays and vacation after 90 days.
