    SUMMARY

    Responsible for filling all food orders for Bingo Concessions. This position will train in and perform both cashier and cook functions, including food orders, delivery, operating the POS (point-of-sale) register, prep food orders and delivery. Schedule will reflect business needs.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    •Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient and friendly service.

    •Checks out bank and operates cash register.

    •Verify check-in and cash register reconciliation and prepare shift end check-out and cash register reconciliation.

    •Promptly accepts customer bill and payments, processing cash, credit card, coupons, or comps.

    •When the food order is ready, promptly deliver the order to the guest.

    •Dispense beverage orders, including soft drinks, and hot drinks.

    •Assist with food preparation, including pizza making, cutting, and slicing condiments, replenishing supplies as needed.

    •Prepare cooked foods to order.

    •Ensure that food items are handled in a healthful and safe manner at all times, adhering to food handling standards and practices at all times.

    •At the beginning and end of each shift, check supply needs and replenish accordingly.

    •Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly reports all concerns to venue Food & Beverage Supervisor.

    •Ensure that the operation of equipment, tools and materials are handled in a safe manner.

    •Follow proper service procedures as outlined in the training manual pertaining to the foodservice venue working in.

    •Communicate with supervisor to resolve any guest questions in a timely manner.

    •Assist other servers with all of the above to ensure total Teamwork.

    •Complete all side work in a timely and satisfactory manner to ensure a clean, neat work area with adequate supply level. Side work lists to be followed.

    •Operates concession equipment includes grill and fryer.

    •Report any complaints, problems, or positive remarks to the venue Food & Beverage supervisor.

    •Follows all appropriate rules and regulations regarding food storage, preparation, and service, including safe handling procedures.

    •Maintains a safe and healthy food service environment while delivering excellent customer service to customers.

    •Provides excellent customer service in a demanding fast-paced environment.

    •Processes the food order on POS system (point of sale), returns correct change. Follows cash handling policies and procedures.

    •Follows company safety and security policies and procedures. Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.

    •Maintains a positive restaurant culture.

    •Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas. Cleans, scrubs and polishes counters, tables, dishes, and other equipment.

    •Performs related duties as assigned.

    •Takes responsibility to know, understand and comply with established company and departmental policies and procedures.

    •Must comply, complete, and maintain all assigned online training programs before due dates.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    (G7/S1-3 DOE)

    •High School Diploma or GED required;

    •One (1) year or more in food preparation, culinary cooking, customer service, cashier experience or similar field;

    •or an equivalent combination of experience, certification or training.

    (G8/S1-3 DOE)

    •Associate Degree in Culinary Arts, Business Management, Marketing, or Hospitality or related field required;

    •Three (3) years or more in food preparation, cashier, and culinary cook;

    •or an equivalent combination of education, training, certification or experience.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, AND REGISTRATIONS

    •Must be able to submit supporting documents of education and training (High School Diploma, GED, Degree, and Certificates). if applicable.

    •Must be able to obtain and maintain a food handlers’ certification within 90 days of employment.

    •Must be able to pass a complete background investigation.

    •Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol screening.

    •Not required to have a driver’s license but preferred.

    The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases too loud.
