Warehouse Packager & Palletizer:

This position will be responsible for boxing finished product, and palletizing in a refrigerated environment while ensuring safe actions, and environmental compliance in a Good Manufacturing Practice food-grade operation. All in compliance with the standards of wholesomeness, hygiene, health & safety at work.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Box finished product
Put over scale
Assign lot numbers
Palletize
Put boxes together
Ensures all specifications and procedures for quality assurance and control are met
Performs other tasks at the request of immediate superior

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Highly detail oriented and meticulous
Autonomy, versatility, thoroughness, and resourcefulness
Good operational judgment (initiative)
Strong commitment to teamwork and concern for others
High level of personal responsibility and ownership

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

Basic mathematical skills in weights, temperatures, times, and general numbers
Able to work in a cold/hot environment
Wear bump cap, earmuffs, safety boots and gloves at all times
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Requires close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and depth perception acuities.
Follow and promote safe work practices
Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

. High school diploma or G.E.D
