Palletizer is responsible for set-up and operation of the automatic Palletizer, stretchwrap machine and related equipment. Takes full pallets, stretches them and puts on truck. Being a Palletizer reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. Adjusts machine setting to complete tasks according to specification, accurately and in a timely fashion. Additionally, Palletizer requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Palletizer works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. The Palletizer Operator will work on the afternoon shift, reporting to the Team Leader. This position pays $19.24/hour plus $0.25/hour shift premium. In this role you will work directly with your crew leader and will be flexible to remain on the job until the last case reaches the Palletizer which is the final step production process.
DUTIES:
The Palletizer Operator is responsible for the proper operation of all Palletizers. The qualified employee will be required to setup the machines for the proper production run. The employee will also be responsible for starting, clearing misfeeds, and restarting the machine. This position may also include heavy labor.
