We are currently seeking Lumpers for a part-time opportunity at a cold storage facility located in New Bedford, MA. This role involves manually unloading cases of products from containers and palletizing them for storage or shipment.

Role Overview: As a Lumper, you will play a critical role in the efficient operation of the cold storage facility. Working typically for a half day, 2-5 days a week, you will ensure that products are carefully and quickly moved from containers to pallets, following safety guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Manually unload cases of products from containers and organize them onto pallets.
• Work efficiently to complete tasks within the allocated time frame.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures within the cold storage environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth operations and communication.

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in cold storage conditions.

Hours: Part-Time, 2-5 days a week, starting at 9 AM (work until noon or possibly later if required)

Pay Rate: $17 per hour
