Palletizer is responsible for set-up and operation of the automatic Palletizer, stretchwrap machine and related equipment. Takes full pallets, stretches them and puts on truck. Being a Palletizer reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. Adjusts machine setting to complete tasks according to specification, accurately and in a timely fashion. Additionally, Palletizer requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Palletizer works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. YOUR ROLE
- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to complete receiving, loading, transporting, stocking, staging, organizing, picking, counting, and maintaining all packaging inventory
- Safety and efficiently operate a forklift to manage material movement within warehouse for purpose of ensuring efficient manufacturing operations and receiving/shipment of materials and finished goods to distribution points
- Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner to meet or exceed reasonable expectations within the area
- Order packaging materials for production lines to meet the 24 hour and 36 hour requirements
- Operation of the Palletizer machines • Operation of the pallet dispenser, shrink wrap system, ground level and overhead conveyors.
