Streak Free Windows & Painting is a down to earth painting company that has been in business for 28 years. You’re not going to find any fancy, high tech stuff here, just good people who take pride in their work.

We thrive in a fun, easy going, drama free work environment. We are loyal to our employees and our customers which historically has meant that we always have plenty of work to go around. Currently we are booked year round for the next several years with projects in high end homes. Most being new construction, with some remodels as well.

We are reasonable and understand that sometimes life needs a little extra attention. We expect you to work 40 hours per week, but if you have an appointment or something you aren’t able to handle after work hours, we will absolutely work with you to make sure you have the time you need to take care of that matter.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare surfaces for paint by scraping old paint, filling holes, repairing any damage, sanding, and vacuuming surfaces.

- Use caulk to fill cracks and gaps.

- Prime and paint ceilings, walls, trim, as well as exterior clapboards and trim.

- You will be expected to clean and maintain painting tools and equipment after use.

Requirements:

- Interior and exterior painting experience.

- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials.

- Strong attention to detail and precision in work (think clean lines and minimal mess).

- Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions (you will need to climb and move ladders).

- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.

- Ability to work on your own. There will be days when the whole crew is together, but other days when you are expected to work on a project on your own.

- Strong communication skills. You will need to communicate what tasks you completed for that day as well as informing us of any supplies you need restocked.

- Reliable transportation. You will be expected to get yourself to and from the job site each day (locations vary).

- You must have a working cell phone and be able to communicate through call or text throughout the day as needed.

- Clean presentation and demeanor. You will be a representative of our company and therefore need to present yourself as a clean and respectable worker.
