Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing any damage
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Follow blueprints or schematics to ensure accurate painting of structures or surfaces
- Caulk and seal joints and seams to prevent leaks or drafts
- Use power tools and equipment such as sanders, scrapers, and sprayers
- Perform trim carpentry tasks such as installing baseboards, crown molding, and window trim
- Assist with remodeling projects by painting walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- Install fixtures such as light switches, outlets, and hardware

Skills:
- Proficient in blueprint reading to understand painting requirements
- Experience with airless paint spraying techniques for efficient and even coverage
- Knowledge of power tools and their safe operation for surface preparation and finishing
- Ability to weld or perform basic welding tasks for metal surface preparation or repairs
- Familiarity with trim carpentry techniques for precise installation of moldings and trims
- Understanding of schematics to accurately follow painting instructions for complex structures
- Experience in remodeling projects involving painting and surface finishing
- Ability to install fixtures such as light switches, outlets, and hardware

Pay: $42,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
