Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces. You will work on a variety of projects, including construction painting, renovations, remodeling, and fixture installations. If you have a strong attention to detail and take pride in your work, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas
- Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools
- Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Painter or similar role
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting construction plans
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Experience in masonry, carpentry, or other related trades is a plus
