Production Support Assistant

Position Overview :

Join our team as a Production Support Assistant in the Dough Department, where you will play a crucial role in assisting the Dough Department Leader and Assistant Plant Manager with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our production processes.

This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity offering Monday through Friday shifts from 6 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM. If you are a motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining a clean and organized production environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities :

• Assist the Dough Department Leader and Assistant Plant Manager with various tasks to facilitate the production process.
• Transport ingredients and prepared dough to designated areas within the production and dough departments, adhering to established procedures and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.
• Report any deficiencies, abnormalities, or deviations from standard procedures to the appropriate personnel.
• Load and operate dough mixers and lifts to feed dough extruders, ensuring proper operation and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and smooth workflow in the dough department.
• Perform cleaning and preparation tasks to ensure the dough areas are ready for the next day's production run.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on maintaining cleanliness and order.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate machinery (training will be provided).
• Detail-oriented and attentive to maintaining product quality and safety.
• Effective communication skills to report abnormalities and collaborate with team members.
• Physical capability to perform lifting and repetitive tasks as required in a production environment.

Compensation :

• Hourly rate : $11 per hour
• Temporary-to-hire opportunity, with potential for permanent employment based on performance and company needs.
