Packaging Manager manages and oversees the packaging staff on designated shift to achieve operational objectives. Observes, analyzes, and researches packaging line operation to develop and implement scientific and efficient process. Being a Packaging Manager implements quality control check to ensure the packaging meets environment, health, and safety regulations. Provides staff with directions on materials and equipment for each package. Additionally, Packaging Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Packaging Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     Summary

    The Infinite Infusions Packaging Associate conducts day-to-day operations within the MIP facility, including the weighing, labeling, and packaging of the concentrates produced for the Infinite Infusions product line. A major part of the Packaging Associate’s job is to ensure quality control by utilizing the right amount and type of materials needed and ensuring the finished product is up to company and state standards is of the utmost importance. The Packaging Associate is responsible also for cleaning and facility upkeep while adhering to all company policy and industry regulations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    ·        Ensure that production work is performed by following standard operating procedures.

    ·        Measure ingredients and products accurately so that optimal levels of production are met.

    ·        Perform a series of preventive and general maintenance tasks on production equipment and tools.

    ·        Weigh and store finished products ensuring that all pertinent information is recorded in logs.

    ·        Accountable for weighing, labeling, packaging, and product logging for accurate inventory control.

    ·        Responsible for loading and unloading designated equipment, products, and materials.

    ·        Responsible for proper use and maintenance of designated equipment.

    ·        Processes finished product to desired company standards.

    ·        Maintains supplies and inventory levels.

    ·        Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of work area.

    ·        Transport packaged product to the proper storage area before distribution.

    ·        Ensure all safety and compliance regulations are followed.

    ·        Work in a focused, quick and efficient manner consistent with company standards.

    ·        All other job duties as assigned.

    Qualifications


    Education:

    ·        High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required

    ·        Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and TGS Global

    Required Skills & Experience:

    ·        Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills

    ·        Management and leadership experience

    ·        Customer service experience

    ·        Must be able to acquire MED badge prior to beginning employment

     

    Physical requirements:

     

    ·        Must be able to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.

    ·        Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for extended periods of time.

    ·        Must be able to individually move objects up to 50 lbs in all directions.


    Preferred Skills & Experience:

    ·        Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements.

    ·        Previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in CO licensed facilities.

    ·        Retail, operations and/or sales experience a plus.

    ·        Minimum of one-year retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service industry experience.

    ·        High-level critical thinking, attention to detail, mathematical, language and reasoning skills.
