The New Mexico Disaggregated Manufacturing Organization (NM DMO) is growing rapidly as it brings the Foveros HVM (High Volume Manufacturing) to life under a single organization with all segments of the process co-located at a single campus for the first time. As part of this growth, we are seeking an Area Manager to join the New Mexico Fab 9 team and be key leaders in our initial startup.
In this role, you will be part of the F9 Wafer Level Assembly (WLA)team. This position manages a team of Shift Group Leaders that manage our manufacturing technicians responsible for maintaining and repairing Fab production equipment and floor operations. The manager must ensure teams' safety, quality, and optimized output.
Responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:
Evaluate and Map the application of sustaining business processes and org structure to ensure effective transition from ramp to HVM on each shift.
People driven business process actions and plans
Identify key areas of resourcing needed to meet OKRs and CSIs
Hiring SGL/MTs (partner/strengthen connection with PSSG)
Hiring/Onboarding
Map SGL Dev, line learning, equipment sustaining requirements against OKRs and CSIs.
SGL Development of Skills and MT Pipeline to SGL program
Manager growth and capability
Map MT Dev
Infinity packages and subsequent activities to close those POR gaps
MT development of core skills
Map MFG internal support and sustaining teams for sustaining activities
ICS/ERT plans
Quality response teams (i.e. CuRT)
on-shift Instructor base and capability

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a bachelor's or higher degree in a Technical/Engineering/Operations Management field OR 5 years of semiconductor management experience with an Associate Degree or equivalent Military experience.
Candidates must have current semiconductor management experience.
5 years of management experience.
Is willing to flex hours to work across the 168-hour team (this will include some regular skewed shifts into the evening)
