ROLE SUMMARY:
The Packaging Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of the packaging department`s day to day operations for Apotho Therapeutic`s Athol Cultivation Facility. The Packaging Manager is a role that requires a hands-on approach to assist in shaping the culture of Apotho Therapeutics Athol, Inc. The Packaging Manager role serves to ensure the proper management and execution of production for the operational workflow from griding, sifting, sorting, packaging, allocating and shipping cannabis bulk flower and pre-packaged cannabis flower. This position is responsible for maintaining efficient, quality, compliant, and safe practices and standards, while proactively developing and evolving staffing, procedures, and technology towards continuous improvement. This role is responsible for the appropriate communication and collaboration from the Executive and Upper Management team with other Apotho Therapeutics departments and leadership as directed. This position will also provide support and training for all packaging staff, including schedules, training, policy and procedure updates. The Packaging Manager will report and be directed by the CEO/President of Apotho Therapeutics Athol Inc and the Production & Procurement Manager.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

· Demonstrated computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Flexibility to work non-traditional business hours as needed. The position will have the occasional need to be in the facility during non-traditional business hours.
· Must be at least 21 years of age (legal requirement).
· Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
· Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
· Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.
· Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
· Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)
· WORK SCHEDULE: 40-50 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holiday
