We are revolutionizing the beverage industry with a brand new 350,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Morganton, North Carolina. Our beverage manufacturing facilities are the most state of the art facilities ensuring the highest control in quality and production reliability in the beverage industry.

Responsible for leading manufacturing and distribution operations ensuring quality products are produced at budgeted costs while balancing safety, quality, production efficiency, staffing, and regulatory compliance.

Responsible for ensuring plant production goals are met

• Coordinates operational plans ensuring operational objectives and KPI’s are met
• Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policy and guidelines.
• Coordinate set up and implement standard operating procedure for all production operations.
• Manage and ensure production is organized, informed, and prepared to ensure that purchasing, production, quality, and shipping produce positive results
• Review and approve expenditures for supplies, materials, and human resources, ensuring that materials, labor, and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets
• Develop and manage the programs for plant safety, preventive maintenance, SOP’s, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure operational compliance within quality assurance programs; SQF, HACCP, and GMP
• Identify operational and productivity improvement opportunities. Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices. Maximize profitability through limiting downtime and controlling yield
• Complete timely employee reviews and provide constant feedback
• Ensures the plant maintains a safe and clean environment exceeding industry standard
• Drives company initiatives through clear communication with all levels of personnel
• Provide active support of customers and regulatory agencies through participation in audits, visits, and tours.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

Qualifications:

• 10 years manufacturing experience, preferably in a managerial role in the food, beverage, fermentation, or pharmaceutical industry. working as a member of management in a beverage processing and/or high-speed manufacturing
• 6 years’ experience in leading and directing large groups of employees
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and strong oral / written communication skills.
• Ability to work in high stress and demanding work environment.
• Good coaching skills and demonstrated success in developing / mentoring people.
• Must have strong prioritization and analytical skills.
• Strategic planning skills and ability to set strategic objectives for the facility as well as drill down to individual objectives.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9000 / 22000 experience a plus).
• Food Safety/HACCP training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
