    The Product Manager, Equipment and Sterile Packaging will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our product categories by leveraging marketing expertise to reach and engage our target audience effectively. Product Managers provide the deep product expertise required to lead the organization and make strategic product decisions. Responsibilities will span from strategic to tactical, including analyzing market and competitive conditions, forecasting, laying out a product vision and developing marketing plans.

    Responsibilities and duties:

    Product Planning and Management

    • Develop sales forecasts in collaboration with sales on a quarterly and annual basis
    • Monitor product performance, analyze sales data, and gather customer feedback to make data-driven decisions for ongoing product improvements
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs to define product requirements, specifications, and project timelines
    • Work in collaboration with supply chain team to monitor sales vs forecasts
    • Ensure all products adhere to relevant industry regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements, working closely with regulatory affairs teams
    • Analyze product portfolio to monitor product life cycles and make recommendations for discontinuations

    Building Brand Equity

    • Conduct thorough market and customer research to identify trends, customer needs and understand the competitive landscape
    • Identify product improvement opportunities using sales data, customer feedback and feedback from internal stakeholders
    • Develop strategies to effectively position the products in the market and enhance product competitiveness
    • Define and prioritize product features based on customer feedback, market trends, and technical feasibility.
    • Maintain and update competitive files on a quarterly basis
    • Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies that align with company goals, considering market dynamics and customer demands
    • Drive the creation of business cases, pricing strategies, and sales forecasts for equipment and sterile product offerings
    • Support Product Development Team(s) in the assigned product portfolio and implement Market Introduction Plan for products

    Product Marketing & Sales Strategies

    • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for our equipment and sterile packaging products, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization
    • Lead and drive 360° brand marketing plan for your category through strategic planning and marketing execution. Guide and inspire business decisions relative to long-term business growth
    • Assume project leadership for product introductions and/or discontinuations
    • Work closely with Marketing Communications to effectively promote and position the portfolio within targeted customer segments and specialties
    • Deliver content for the creation of all marketing collateral including a wide range of internal and external content such as product data sheets, manuals, sales scripts and FAQs
    • Understanding of the latest digital tools and strategies that generate product interest from consumers and how to leverage them to drive awareness
    • Collaborate with internal teams including design, communications, sales, pricing and demand planning to ensure a successful implementation of sales and marketing plans
    • Partner with Training Specialist to provide training to sales team and develop training materials

    Managing a team

    • Responsible for day-to-day of the Technical Product Specialist, ensure they are supporting the commercial teams.
    • Lead and mentor your team, including driving accountability, setting performance objectives, regular team meetings and communicating direction and changes, and training.

    Skills, knowledge and abilities:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing related field and Science is an asset
    • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in product management within the sterile packaging industry
    • Proven track record of successfully managing sterile equipment and packaging products from conception to launch.
    • Strong understanding of sterile manufacturing processes, aseptic techniques, and cleanroom environments.
    • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines and quality standards, such as FDA, ISO, and GMP an asset
    • Experience in lab setting or pharmaceutical industry is an asset
    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving industry, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
    • Strong understanding of product positioning, messaging and proven track record of creating and executing successful product marketing campaigns
    • Ability to analyze data and market insights to inform marketing strategies
    • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PPT, Teams and Excel) required
