Packaging Machine Operator sets up and operates a packaging machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Fills, secures, and labels containers according to company and/or customer specifications. Being a Packaging Machine Operator verifies goods packaged against package invoices. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. Additionally, Packaging Machine Operator adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Documents inventory number and weight, and organizes packages. May make minor repairs to packaging equipment as needed. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Packaging Machine Operator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. ISOFlex Packaging, local manufacturer of flexible packaging, is seeking qualified candidates for entry level extrusion machine operators. Applicants must have a stable work history, be dependable and be able to pass a drug screen.
This is full time, non-seasonal employment with growth potential and on the job training; no experience necessary.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
High School education or equivalent.
Able to read, write, and speak English.
Able to read a tape measure within 1/16th inch increments.
Basic math skills including fractions.
Required ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work 12 hour shifts.
Able to work day or night shift as assigned.
Required to wear safety gear (steel toed shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, hair net, etc..).
Frequent walking, squatting, and bending.
Frequent lifting and or moving up to 75 pounds.
