Crack Open the Possibilities –Thermoform Machine Operator!

At Hickman’s Family Farms we use recycled cartons to be as sustainable as possible and as a thermoform machine operator you will be responsible for transforming recycled plastic into sustainable egg cartons, operating heavy machinery, building and stacking pallets. A thermoform machine operator always maintains cleanliness around the work area and works to achieve operation excellence all while committed to Safety and Quality.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate computer screen interacting with equipment
• Ensure thermoform (plastics) machine runs smoothly
• Feed/load thermoform rolls onto machine for production
• Unload thermoform rolls as required
• Load recycled flakes
• Palletize finished product
• Scan and document finished product in/out of inventory
• Follow company workplace safety policies and procedures
• Effectively communicate with management key issues

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be capable of becoming pallet jack / forklift certified
• Capable of being on your feet for an 8 hour shift or more
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, squat, bend, lift, and reach with hands and arms
• Willing and able to work any day or shift as we are a 24/7 operation
• Self-motivated and a team player
