MSY is currently seeking a full-time, hardworking, self-motivated Packaging Operator. This is a Union position, with great benefits (medical, dental, vision, paid time off). Work schedule is 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm; 6pm-6am) rotating weekly. (2 days on - 2 days off, 3 days on – 2 days off) Affording the right individual plenty of time off, to enjoy their hobbies or to just relax. This starting position involves placing empty bags on a conveyor while guiding it for product filling, weight verification, through a metal detector, then heat sealed for packaging. The bags are then conveyed further to the area where you stack them on a pallet.

The qualified individual requirements are:

¨ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

¨ Ability to occasionally work unsupervised

¨ Ability to pass a fit for duty examination.

¨ Obtain a forklift license (will train) as well as a Steam Boiler license (on the job paid training).
