Job description:
Complete major project of installing and validating new automated packaging lines with multiple equipment to replace older outdated packaging lines.
Researching and developing packaging equipment and methods required to produce a new product in a new container and suggesting proof of Principle concepts, costs, and timing.
Project Engineering, Quality Engineering.
Handled numerous complete Packaging projects from concept to completion.
Extensive hands on packaging development and equipment design.
Launh new packaging lines, including startup, commissioning, and Validation.
Hands on experience with various packaging equipment including blister machines, bottlers, washers, fillers, cappers, labelers, sterilizers, cartoners, case packers, robots, vision systems, wrappers, palletizers, perform a technical assessment of 25-30 lines for bottles, induction seals, cappers and sachet and customized packaging machinery.
Integrating multiple packaging machines into full packaging lines, creating interactive communication handshakes between machines from various suppliers.
Performing packaging validations. Write and execute FAT, IQ/OQ, and PQ protocols and test reports. Excellent team player and project leader. Work and communicate well with Management, vendors, and operational personnel
Expects engineers is able to identify technology gaps of equipment, efficiency opportunities. And to formulate what does the future looks like (in terms of equipment/ new technologies) and recommend next generation equipment technologies.
Candidate Requirements
• Graduate in Mechanical/Packaging or engineering related field.
• 5 years minimum experience in Packaging R&D for CPG, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals products or related industries.
