Package Design Manager leads the planning, design, and creation of packaging artwork for an organization. Utilizes graphic arts design techniques and tools to create compelling package designs that reflect the organization's branding and marketing objectives. Being a Package Design Manager incorporates industry practices and any regulatory requirements into package designs. Ensures that design and branding standards are utilized consistently for all packaging. Additionally, Package Design Manager collaborates with production, marketing, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver designs that meet all requirements and adhere to the budget. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in industrial design, art, graphic design or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Package Design Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Package Design Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Summary 
    The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of multiple projects while ensuring collaborative cross-functional strategic planning and management of project performance reporting. They will identify project's goals, objectives, and scope and create project plans that outline the tasks, timelines, and resources required.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
    • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
    • Establish timelines, delegate project tasks to team members and follow up with all parties regarding delivery of project obligations and feedback.
    • Facilitate project team meetings and manage project risks, issues, and changes, and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks by providing detailed summaries and next steps.
    • Create and maintain project documentation for tactical planning and communication, and high-level presentations for executive-level share-outs.
    • Ensure project milestones are met by tracking action items and deliverables to align with the overall timeline and goals.
    • Ensure all projects are completed and meet the intended design, quality, cost, functionality, and manufacturability objectives.
    • Communicate and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide training and information required to promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems.
    • Work with Manufacturing, Quality Engineering and R&D to define specifications, design criteria and defect ranges to ensure optimal process flow from manufacture of components through filling and assembly.

    Education And Experience 

    • A bachelor’s degree or master's degree in a related field.
    • At least five years of related experience. 
    • Proven experience in project management.
    • Experience with ClickUp project management or related software. 
    • Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
    • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.  

    Skills and Proficiencies

    • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
    • Able to manage multiple projects and able to refocus priorities as the business dictates.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. 
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
