Package Design Manager leads the planning, design, and creation of packaging artwork for an organization. Utilizes graphic arts design techniques and tools to create compelling package designs that reflect the organization's branding and marketing objectives. Being a Package Design Manager incorporates industry practices and any regulatory requirements into package designs. Ensures that design and branding standards are utilized consistently for all packaging. Additionally, Package Design Manager collaborates with production, marketing, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver designs that meet all requirements and adhere to the budget. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in industrial design, art, graphic design or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Package Design Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Available Position: Sales/Marketing Manager
Salary range: $60 -$75K annually
Office Location: Boston Massachusetts (this is a hybrid position and must have reliable transportation.)
Responsibilities:
This position requires an ability to manage, develop, and expand the existing marketing plan, and oversee the execution of all marketing and PR activities as well as sales. We are looking for a marketing/sales professional who will review and expand upon our existing marketing plan and develop new strategies to reach key customer markets. This involves a combination of experience in running digital marketing campaigns, in-person networking/presentations, and marketing data analysis.
This position also assists in our sales efforts by discussing with potential clients about their project scopes/sizes and determines projects that are right fits for us. He/she is responsible for scheduling in-person design consultation. From time to time, he/she also goes out and meets potential clients for in-person consultation and assists in closing out sales (no architectural/construction knowledge is required; willingness to learn is a plus.)
