Package Design Manager leads the planning, design, and creation of packaging artwork for an organization. Utilizes graphic arts design techniques and tools to create compelling package designs that reflect the organization's branding and marketing objectives. Being a Package Design Manager incorporates industry practices and any regulatory requirements into package designs. Ensures that design and branding standards are utilized consistently for all packaging. Additionally, Package Design Manager collaborates with production, marketing, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver designs that meet all requirements and adhere to the budget. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in industrial design, art, graphic design or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Package Design Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Package Design Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Overview:

    Seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Manager to join our team to lead the program management effort with the following responsibilities:

    • Provides oversight over procurement(s), contract(s), vendor management, and project implementation - Design, Construct and Build
    • Establishes relationships and builds trusted partnerships with business stakeholders and project executive sponsors
    • Implements our governance process and participates in governance meetings as needed
    • Develops and monitors contract scope, provides project direction, and ensures adherence to our processes and procedures
    • Collaborates as a team to deliver quality products, and to identify, resolve, or mitigate risks, issues, or roadblocks
    • Provides necessary approval for payment by Director, and monitors contract financials to ensure actual contract payments do not exceed projected contract payments

    Required Skills:

    • 5 Years in directing and managing complex programs
    • 3 Years of experience as a project manager
    • 3 years of experience in Medicaid or Major Health Care projects
    • Experience in building out the approach, milestones, and timeline of a program
    • Experience in leading Cross-Functional teams by partnering and collaborating with business, project services, and critical stakeholders to gather and document information
    • Experience in aligning stakeholders and cross-functional project teams to ensure on-time delivery of a quality solution
    • Experience in working with multiple vendors - in-person or virtual teams to develop and implement solutions
    • Proficient at communicating with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts as well as strong presentation skills
    • Skilled in the development of documents, detailed reports, and presentations
    • Proficient in Systems Development Life Cycle and Software Design Patterns
    • Proficient in project management methodologies and a good understanding of multiple project methodologies
    • Experience in all phases of the standard project management life cycle, CMS MITA, and OBC
    • Strong interpersonal skills to build team rapport
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently with minimal direction from State or other team members
    • Ability to work under pressure / to a deadline
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree from an accredited* four-year college or university with a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
