Job Title: PET/CT Technologist

Seven Healthcare are seeking a highly skilled PET/CT Technologist to join our dynamic team in Utica, NY. As a PET/CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare facility by operating specialized imaging equipment to produce detailed images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

Responsibilities of the PET/CT Technologist:

• Perform PET/CT scans on patients according to established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as required for PET imaging.
• Operate and maintain PET/CT imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
• Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to any adverse reactions or complications.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.
• Maintain accurate patient records, imaging data, and other relevant documentation.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including radiation safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of imaging results.
• Stay informed about advancements in PET/CT technology and imaging techniques through ongoing education and training.

Applicant Requirements:

• BLS Certification
• ARRT Certification
• NY License
• 1 year PET/CT Tech experience required
