Overview: We are seeking a reliable and compassionate individual to join our team as a Pet Sitter. As a Pet Sitter, you will be responsible for providing care and companionship to pets while their owners are away. This is a rewarding opportunity for animal lovers who enjoy spending time with various types of pets. Responsibilities: - Provide in-home pet care services including feeding, walking, and playing with pets - Administer medications as instructed by pet owners - Ensure pets have access to clean water and a comfortable environment - Clean litter boxes, cages, and other pet areas - Monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to the owner - Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any special needs or requests - Maintain accurate records of daily activities and report back to pet owners - Provide updates and photos to pet owners to keep them informed about their pets' well-being Skills: - Experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or related animal care roles preferred - Knowledge of basic veterinary care and ability to recognize signs of illness or distress in pets - Familiarity with dog training techniques and ability to reinforce basic commands - Ability to safely restrain animals when necessary - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners - Physical stamina for walking dogs and performing tasks that may require heavy lifting - Experience with equine care is a plus If you have a passion for animals and enjoy providing exceptional care, we would love to hear from you.
