Job Summary:
Are you passionate about animals and enjoy spending time outdoors? Join our team as a Pet Sitter at R.A.R.E. Pet Care LLC! As a Pet Sitter, you'll play a crucial role in providing exercise, companionship, and exceptional care to our clients' beloved pets.

Duties:

• Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring they get the exercise they need
• Provide companionship and playtime for dogs
• Follow specific instructions provided by dog owners regarding their pets' care
• Monitor pets for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene while handling pets, including picking up after them during walks
• Ensure the safety of both the dogs and yourself during walks, following all necessary precautions
• Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates on their pets' behavior and well-being
• Administer medication as needed and directed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pet care or dog handling is preferred
• Knowledge of basic pet grooming techniques is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with dog owners in a professional manner
• Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting larger dog breeds)
• Experience as a veterinary assistant or in a kennel setting is advantageous
• Basic knowledge of dog training principles is desirable
• Reliable transportation
• Availability during weekdays, as well as occasional weekends and holidays
