PC Support Manager manages a team that provides personal computer deployment and support, including setup, installation, repairs, upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting. Maintains the necessary hardware and software inventory and oversees the administration of required licenses. Being a PC Support Manager analyzes PC resource requirements and evaluates available vendors, products, and services that will meet the organization's needs. Implements training programs and develops documentation to support end-users. Additionally, PC Support Manager possesses experience in a LAN environment, a strong understanding of PC operating systems, security tools, and extensive knowledge of all commonly used PC software and products. · Answer help desk phone and input support issues into tracking system. · Troubleshooting and repair PC software and hardware issues. · Setup and installation of computer workstation. · Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and 11. · Knowledge of Microsoft Office Platforms · Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat software · Deploy operating system image to PC’s. · Setup and Deploy CISCO VOIP Phones and accessories · Research and investigate virus warnings · Deploy mobile devices, cell phones, tablets, and parts scanners. · Travel between locations to install or repair hardware and software |

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY |
· Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent. · Have a valid driver’s license and must be insurable under the company insurance policy. · Minimum one (1) year of hands-on experience supporting personal computers in a business environment or may be substituted with education · Solid understanding of personal computer systems and software. · Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office and antivirus software. · Basic Understanding of the Apple iOS and Android mobile operating system platforms · Ability to learn Caterpillar and third-party software applications. · Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new developments in personal computer technology · Professional oral and written communication skills required.
