Business and Program Support Manager

Job Objective: Assists Business Manager in the assigned general activities of the CREC Finance Department. Assists Program Leadership in management coordination and support of CREC Programs.

Reports to: CREC Business Manager and Executive Director

Required Qualifications for Position:

• Minimum of five years’ experience in accounting-related work, with preference given for experience in school district bookkeeping or accounting; VISIONS program, and

• Minimum of five years’ experience in program/project management educationally related work; including training experience.

• Working knowledge of applicable computer systems including word processing, project management timeline databases, and spreadsheet software.

• Ability to present information to various audiences.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Flexibility, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Effective interpersonal skills, in person, in writing, and on the telephone, with diverse populations; including state department personnel, school district staff, etc.

Major Job Responsibilities:

• Provide support to assist the CREC in managing its financial and operation systems using general business and financial skills through activities assigned by Business Manager including but not limited to assistance with:

- Preparing Quarterly Reports

- Reconciling monthly statements

- Reviewing financial statements

- IGA billing

• Provide support to assist the CREC in managing its projects in collaboration with the CREC Project Manager; assist with program support as assigned by Executive Director.

• Safeguard confidentiality of privileged information.

• Maintain professional relationship and work cooperatively with employees, the community, and other professionals.

• Maintain professional competence through individuals and district training, in-service educational activities, and appropriate self-selected professional growth activities.

• Meet deadlines and work multiple projects.

• Attend staff meetings and conduct, as may be necessary, provide training/technical assistance

Additional Duties:

• Perform other tasks related to area of responsibilities as requested or assigned by the executive director.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
