We are interviewing for a professional staff position in the Tax Practice Area at Squire, a regional audit, tax and advisory firm located in SLC, Utah. Hired individuals will work in our Tax Practice Area to provide outstanding professional services to our valued clients. They will work directly with clients under the supervision of our management team. The period of employment will be full time.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsibilities include preparing all types of income, multi-state, and transfer tax returns, managing client communications and expectations, and recognizing and engaging in tax planning opportunities. Assistance with tax research, planning and consulting. Interaction with clients and other professionals.
Qualifications:
· CPA license preferred
· Master's degree with an emphasis in taxation preferred
· 6 years of experience with national or strong local CPA firm preferred
· 6 years of experience in tax
· Strong sense of ethics
· Good communicator with leadership experience
· Focused on excellent client service
