PC Maintenance Technician installs, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals. Resolves internal user problems and ensures correct operation of personal computers. Being a PC Maintenance Technician maintains parts inventory and logs all service/repair activity. May perform system setups for new hires. Additionally, PC Maintenance Technician may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a project leader or supervisor. The PC Maintenance Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. We are currently seeking a PC Maintenance Technician to join our family!
In the PC Maintenance Technician position, you will provide support and repair on the hardware and software used by employees throughout the company. You will perform the installation of hardware and software on desktop, laptop and mobile devices. Timely troubleshoot and fault isolation of desktop, laptop and tablet computers and complete repairs if required. Monitor and maintain documentation with regards to company information security policies. You will also assist with the installation and configuration of network hardware including servers and wireless access points.
