General Description / Primary Purpose
Resolve problem escalation, providing resolution, assign incident priorities, and be proactive with management of the volume in the assigned area. Provide 2nd level support of campus hardware and software. Act as a secondary liaison between ITS Help Desk and other ITS user support teams. Document internal services and service levels. Assist in development and maintenance of the Windows & Mac lab clients used in their assigned areas. Diagnose equipment and software problems. Participate as an active member of the team to which they are assigned.

50% Direct workflow, resolve problem escalation, provide resolution, assign incident priorities, and be proactive with management of the volume in the assigned area. 30% Provide 2nd level support of campus hardware and software. 10% Document computing security procedures and incidents. 10% Act as a secondary liaison between ITS Help Desk and other ITS user support teams.

Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems; knowledge of basic client software, local area networks, and basic troubleshooting skills. Ability to prepare system documentation, interprets and apply technical information, plan, organize, coordinate work assignments, and communicate effectively.
