Our facility offers behavioral and psychological treatment for adults and adolescents through our acute programs, adolescent residential programs, as well as programs for active duty military. We have a new opening for a Director of Outpatient Services. The Director of Outpatient Services ensures the development, implementation, and evaluation of the outpatient programs are consistent with facility’s goals and objectives.  The Director of Outpatient Services oversees the development of new programs, and provides leadership and strategic planning for all IOP/PHP and outpatient therapies.

Position Requirements:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• LPC or LCSW required.
• HWC, CPR & First Aid Required.

Education/Experience:

• Master’s degree in a human services field (i.e. social work, psychology, or counseling)
• Five years clinical and supervisory experience with adolescents and adult populations in both residential and acute care setting required.

General Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age per Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services.Must have patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.
• Good communication skills; must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Basic clerical skills, basic experience with office equipment (telephone, copy machine, fax, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Ability to problem solve and accept feedback when circumstances warrant such actions.
• Willingness to interact with patients with varying levels of cognitive functioning.
• Travel may be required.
