Being an Outpatient Care Supervisor may include customer service, scheduling, clinical coordination, third-party and records management. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Outpatient Care Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Outpatient Care Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Our adult outpatient program is seeking a masters level clinician to provide individual treatment to adults with significant behavioral/mental health challenges. The masters level clinician will provide pre- and post-treatment services to clients presenting with psychiatric and/or substance use issues. Responsibilities include counseling sessions to clients diagnosed with a variety of mental health and/or substance use disorders, utilizing brief treatment and psychotherapy models, the ability to formulate intervention recommendations as part of crisis intervention, develop treatment plans that focus on client goals, and refer clients to appropriate community resources when needed. The ideal candidate has previous experience working with the co-occurring population, is willing to function and participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team as well as working autonomously, and has a sincere desire to help our clients regain a productive and meaningful lifestyle. Treatment is provided through a hybrid version of in person and telehealth services. Supervision is also provided.
Education/Licensing Requirements: Master's degree in behavioral health or related discipline is required as is experience working with diverse populations. Requires an MSW, LCSW, LICSW, LCDP, LMHC.
