Our unique program, housed in a sparkling clean facility, is designed to use a collaborative, teamwork approach with families and caregivers so that each child will have access to the developmental building blocks that are necessary for future success.
Purpose: Assist the director with the overall responsibility to manage, administer and enhance Future Foundations Child Care Center to meet the program’s mission.
Reports to: Director of Future Foundations Child Care Center.
And to the Board of Directors, as needed
Minimum Requirements: o Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education o 1-year experience ECE Supervisory Capacity
Assistant Director, Child Care Tasks o Assist the director with planning, managing, and directing a childcare program o Teach and monitor children o Work with the Director to maintain the center paperwork, keeping files on each child and proof of meeting government regulations o Assist the Director in arranging staff schedules to ensure required child staff ratios are always met o Supervise and evaluate teachers, provide mentoring and training to help teachers improve their skills. o Work with the Director and teachers to establish, evaluate and revise the curriculum.
