Orthopedic Technician applies and adjusts plaster casts and assembles and attaches orthopedic traction equipment and devices as directed by a physician. Sets up bed traction units or rigs special devices as required, and inspects and adjusts bandages and equipment. Being an Orthopedic Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent, completion of Orthopedic Technician training and certification program. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. ORE - Shift 1 ($0) (United States of America - Oregon)A BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Maintenance Technician performs machine maintenance and facility repairs on most of the site's machines according to safety regulations and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment as required.
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain the site's equipment.
Perform mechanic work including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform preventive maintenance on all machines, equipment, and plant facility.
May perform basic plumbing or electrical maintenance functions.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Perform major repairs on production equipment.
Comply with all relevant health and safety rules and regulations.
Is trained on and can independently perform maintenance on most of the machines in the shop.
Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
2 Years Experience in production equipment maintenance (Required)
Electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and/or industrial Experience (Preferred)
Plumbing and HVAC experience (Preferred)
